Safety
is our top priority every day, on every job site.
KA's safety record ranks among the top five percent in the construction
industry nationwide, a performance that has repeatedly earned us the
Minnesota Safety Council Governor's Safety Award.
Our outstanding safety record is no accident, but the direct result
of a vigorous, proactive safety program that includes ongoing jobsite
inspections, continuous training and motivational efforts to develop
safety awareness among all our employees.
Moreover, our emphasis on safety extends beyond construction workers
to include our clients and the greater public. At numerous hospital
and elderly care remodeling projects, we develop programs to ensure
the safety of staff, residents and patients. As construction manager
at Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport, we take measures to
ensure the safety of the more than 33 million passengers that pass
through the facility each year. We provide the special handling required
by schools, data and research facilities, and other projects which
house various precious resources.
Whatever the size or scope of the project, we consider safety an
instrumental component of quality construction, and act accordingly. |
